Meet your Board of Governors Student Representative Candidates

Every year, one student is elected to represent the Algonquin College student body on the Board of Governors. Responsible for providing a student voice on the Board, this student will be elected during the Board of Governors Voting Period, which starts on March 2nd at 9 A.M. and ends March 3rd at 12 NOON.

Program: Law Clerk
Bio Excerpt: I want to be the Student representative for the Board of Governors because I believe I can bring more Unity, more Inclusion and make more platforms for every student, department, campus, and for Algonquin as a whole. I have been the student representative for my program for 2 consecutive semesters. I have been nominated by a professor in this institution to part take in one of many Student leadership programs that are now reflected on my CRV. I am an avid volunteer. Program: Computer Systems Technician
Bio Excerpt: Being involved in the college has always been important to me as I prefer to be active starting from my school journey at Algonquin, opening me to various opportunities. Being the Leader of Indian students Society, I have learned the importance of being responsible, to take initiative, put teams together and make sure that the team works cooperatively and perform better.
