Cheryl to host Premier’s Town Hall

Premier Kathleen Wynne will be in Ottawa this week for a special open-forum event that will be moderated by Cheryl.

Everyone is welcome to attend this Town Hall, which will take place at the Chamber at Ben Franklin Place, 101 Centrepointe Drive — just a stone’s throw from Algonquin’s Ottawa campus.

“Nothing can replace being able to ask questions of elected representatives in person. Talking to people, starting that conversation, is what motivates me. That’s why I want to hear from you, the people of Ontario — I want to hear your ideas on how we can create a fairer, better province with more opportunity for everyone,” the Premier said in a press release. “Because even though we’ve made major strides and have a lot to be proud of, we know there is still a lot more work to do to ensure that everyone shares in our province’s continued prosperity and success.”

If you would like to attend and take part in the conversation, general admission seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Date: Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018

Time: Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the Premier’s Town Hall will start at 7 p.m.

Location: The Chamber, Ben Franklin Place, 101 Centrepointe Dr.
