Why did you choose Algonquin College?

When choosing where I would continue my education, it was important to me that I picked somewhere with a smaller campus, where I could know all my classmates and could create a lasting legacy somewhere. Picking Algonquin was a hard choice as for me personally it was five hours away from where I call home and away from everything that was familiar. Seeing the beautiful campus, connecting with some great staff and enjoying the small-town feel helped me make my decision. Continue reading

Pembroke Campus dedicates Indigenous Medicine Wheel Garden

It has been planned for many years and now it is part of the campus grounds atOutdoor shot of Claude Brule with Pembroke leaders at dedication of new medicine wheel garden. A new Indigenous Medicine Wheel Garden, located on the Western tip of the campus property, was dedicated recently in a special ceremony that celebrated what the space means to the college and broader community. Question: What were some highlights from your time at Algonquin?

Answer: I’ve had many highlights from my last four years, but some of the recent ones include the ample opportunities to network with industry professionals in interior design.
