To celebrate Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO)’s 50th anniversary, Algonquin College joins other institutions across Ottawa to mark the occasion by lighting up the night sky purple. The Woodroffe pedestrian bridge will be lit purple this evening, May 17. Purple is CHEO’s official colour.
From providing pediatric care to pioneering groundbreaking medical treatment, CHEO has held a special place in the community for 50 years.
“CHEO has been a long-standing partner for our health programs, from nursing and respiratory therapy to our suite of diagnostic imaging programs, students learn first-hand from our most critical patient voice of all, that of our children.
