Student Life
Are you looking for activities to do at Algonquin College when you’re not in class? Look no further! This segment of the blog will show what student life is like at AC through events, opportunities, and showcasing our population.
Jeremy Coorsh and Fabiana (Faby) Ferraresso met in Algonquin College’s Public Relations program a little over two years ago — both coming to the program as mature students eager to take on a new challenge and opportunity. A year of friendship and multiple group projects later, Coorsh and Ferraresso’s relationship bloomed into a beautiful romance which led Coorsh to take a big leap — at the last class of their program, after a long day of presentations, Coorsh marked the occasion with a heartfelt proposal.
Algonquin College students cooked for a cause on April 25, 2023 as part of the La Tablée des Chefs’ Solidarity Kitchen – Next Generation Edition project. AC’s culinary students produced a total of 950 meals for the Ottawa Food Bank that will feed vulnerable people in the Ottawa community who are seeking emergency food assistance.
