For one recent TV Broadcasting graduate, dreams do come true.
After graduating in 2014, Rachel Erdos moved to Vancouver looking for her first industry job. That very same winter, Rachel interviewed for a position with Moving Picture Company — while she didn’t get the position she originally applied to, Rachel found another job with the same company the very next week, and she started with MPC in March of 2015. Brittany Oremush, graduate of the Registered Practical Nursing program at the College, is looking forward to continuing her lifelong dream of helping those overseas by way of a volunteer opportunity with Team Broken Earth.
Team Broken Earth is a volunteer task force composed of physicians, nurses, and physiotherapists from across Canada committed to delivering and improving healthcare in Haiti. The team was initially assembled to support the relief effort in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake that left the people of Haiti in dire need of medical assistance. Continue reading
