AC Mobile Safety App

The AC Mobile Safety App is the official safety app of Algonquin College that features emergency notifications that will alert you if there is an emergency on campus. Download the app to access emergency procedures, safety tips, and the ability to call or email AC Security directly from the app.

To get the most out of the app, make sure you enable push notifications, and that your app is up to date to ensure that you receive all emergency notifications from Algonquin College. Push notifications can be accessed in your phone’s settings under “notifications”, or by clicking “allow” on the notifications pop up window you receive when first downloading the app. Be sure to install the latest software update to ensure the mobile safety app will continue to function properly.

The Algonquin College Mobile Safety app is available for download in the App Store for iPhone, and Google Play for Android.

Turning on Push Notifications for iPhone users:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. On the Settings screen, tap on Notifications
  3. On the Notifications screen, scroll to find the AC Mobile Safety App
  4. On the Mobile Safety screen, tap ‘Allow Notifications’

Turning on Push Notifications for Android users:

  1. Open settings on your Android
  2. On the settings screen, click notifications
  3. On the Notifications screen, scroll to find the AC Mobile Safety App
  4. On the Mobile Safety screen, tap ‘Allow Notifications’
