2024 Schulich Builders Scholarship Recipients

Schulich Builders are scholarships for students enrolling in an eligible, full-time skilled trades program at a participating college in Ontario, presented by The Schulich Foundation. Valued at $40,000 each ($20,000 per academic year), these scholarships support the cost of tuition, tools, and living expenses.

The continued partnership between The Schulich Foundation and Algonquin College was announced to the College community in April 2024.

Initiated in February 2023, the Schulich Builders program represents a commitment to addressing labor shortages in the skilled trades sector. In its first year alone, over $3 million was pledged to support students, emphasizing the vital role of skilled trades in Canada.

Congratulations to Algonquin College’s 2024 Schulich Scholarship recipients: Seanna Belsito, Jacob Thornycroft, Charlie Rideout, Niamh O’Brien, Ama Morin, Ryan Misener, Uchenna Ijoma, Monica Ethier, Ryan Bruce, and Bannock Berche Glover. The full announcement included recipients from 12 colleges across Ontario.
