Cancellations & No Shows

Students may cancel their appointment on HireAC up to 24 hours before the start of their appointment. If you cannot attend your appointment, please cancel your existing appointment prior to rescheduling.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be counted as No Shows (unless you contact us regarding extenuating circumstances for missing your appointment).

If you have to cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time, please reach out to employment@algonquincollege.com as soon as possible to avoid being counted as a No Show.
There is a 15-minute grace period for appointments. If you do not attend your appointment within 15 minutes of the start time, that appointment will be counted as a No Show.

If you no-show to your appointment without cancelling 2 times in the term, you will be prevented from booking future appointments via HireAC for the duration of the term.
