Request Assistive Technology

To request the use of assistive technology for tests, schedule a meeting with an assistive technologist at the beginning of the term before booking any tests.

To book an appointment with an assistive technologist:

CAL Test Services will send your professor information for applying your requested accommodations to tests. If the test is being delivered through Brightspace, your professor will adjust the test accordingly in Brightspace.

Learning and Teaching Services (LTS) can help your professor make adjustments in Brightspace and help them put assistivie technology in place, but your professor is responsible for making certain the requested accommodations are applied.

  • For in-person tests: The assistive technology will be in place as outlined in your letter of accommodation.
