Apprenticeship Success Centre

What We Do

The Apprenticeship Success Centre provides support to students enrolled in pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs at Algonquin College.

The Apprenticeship Success Centre offers services that help apprentices at every level of their program completion (i.e., Basic-Level 1, Intermediate-Level 2, Advanced-Level 3) and when preparing for the Certification of Qualification (C of Q).

The Apprenticeship Success Centre follows a team approach that involves you (the student) and your professors to promote overall success and wellness.

Our goal is to provide academic accommodations, learning strategies, assistive technology, and equipment loan services to equalize the opportunity for students to meet their essential course or program requirements. All services are free, confidential and voluntary.

The Apprenticeship Success Centre provides the following support:

  • Academic accommodations, such as extra time for tests
  • Assistive technology, such as a speech-to-text or text-to-speech software
  • Learning strategies for time management, notetaking, and studying
  • Tutoring
  • Peer notetaking (ASC Peer Notetaking Contract – Fillable)
  • Workshops
