You must supply a laptop and separate Pen & Drawing Tablet (on which you draw on the tablet – not a separate monitor/computer) are required for your first day of classes! (Display tablets are also an option)

Before beginning the program, students are required to purchase either a MacOS or Windows laptop (cost: $1900 – $3,400)

Computer must be able to handle the current MAYA, Blender, Zbrush and full Adobe suite software as recommended by the software companies’ website

You will need as much memory as you can afford – We recommend a 16GB of RAM minimum or more for your choice of computers.

Accessories:

A separate Pen Display Drawing Tablet which allows you to draw on the screen is required.

We require all new and returning students to have a separate drawing tablet.

Ipad’s can be used, and other tools, but a separate drawing tablet and laptop is required to complete your course work.

We require a separate drawing tablet so it is portable to bring to the college easily and complete work in class. Relying solely on an at home tower is not acceptable.

If you are looking into alternative display tablets we recommend the XP Pen artist display series or Wacom Cintiq display as ideal.
