With a focus on global business, the Supply Chain Management - Global Ontario College Graduate Certificate program prepares you for careers in the fields of logistics, procurement, and supply chain and operations management.
Businesses look to global supply chains to extend their entry into new markets and to expand their access to a wide range of resources beyond the local market. In this program you explore ways to integrate end-to-end supply chain functions from raw material suppliers to the final customer and align them with companies` product and service strategies. Topics include procurement and purchasing; transportation and logistics; and business analytics and process improvement.
Benefit from the experience of and engagement with industry professionals as you explore real-world scenarios and case studies related to online retailer value chains and sustainable product life-cycles. Gain the skills and experience necessary to be successful in a high-performing team environment including leadership, communication and continuous improvement.
Students also have the option to gain real-world experience through a paid co-operative education (co-op) work term (see Additional Information for more details). Please note that places in the co-op work term are subject to availability and academic eligibility. Please note admission to the co-op program does not guarantee a co-op placement.

- Ontario College Diploma, Ontario College Advanced Diploma, Degree or equivalent.
- Applicants with international transcripts must provide proof of the subject-specific requirements noted above and may be required to provide proof of language proficiency. Domestic applicants with international transcripts must be evaluated through the International Credential Assessment Service of Canada (ICAS) or World Education Services (WES).
- IELTS -International English Language Testing Service (Academic) Overall band of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each band; OR TOEFL-Internet-based (iBT)-overall 88, with a minimum of 22 in each component: Reading 22; Listening 22; Speaking 22; Writing 22; OR Duolingo English Test (DET) Overall 120, minimum of 120 in Literacy and no score below 105.

Program Resources
CO-OP INFORMATION:
All applicants apply directly to the co-op version of this program through OntarioColleges.ca or our International Application Portal. Applicants not wishing to pursue the co-op version will have the opportunity to opt-out after being admitted to the program but prior to the first co-op work term.
Co-operative education (Co-op) allows students to integrate their classroom learning with a real-world experience through paid work terms. Two academic terms prior to the cooperative education work term, students are required to actively participate in and successfully complete the self-directed co-op course, readiness activities and workshops.
Students must actively conduct a guided, self-directed job search and are responsible for securing approved program-related paid co-op employment. Students compete for co-op positions alongside students from Algonquin College and other Canadian and international colleges and universities. Algonquin College`s Co-op Department provides assistance in developing co-op job opportunities and guides the overall process, but does not guarantee that a student will obtain employment in a co-op work term. Co-op students may be required to relocate to take part in the co-op employment opportunities available in their industry and must cover all associated expenses; e.g., travel, work permits, visa applications, accommodation and all other incurred expenses.
Co-op work terms are typically 14 weeks in duration and are completed during a term when students are not taking courses. For more information on your program`s co-op level(s), visit the courses tab on your program`s webpage.
International students enrolled in a co-op program are required by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to have a valid Co-op/Internship Work Permit prior to commencing their work term. Without this document International students are not legally eligible to engage in work in Canada that is part of an academic program. The Co-op/Internship Work Permit does not authorize international students to work outside the requirements of their academic program.

Dr. Ahmad Teymouri
Program Coordinator
Dr. Ahmad Teymouri, Coordinator of Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) and Bachelor of Commerce Supply Chain Management programs, received his Ph.D. in Digital Transformation and Innovation in 2020.
Ahmad completed three master’s degrees: Master of Applied Science in Project Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operation Management, and M.Sc. in Management Information Systems. He completed his industrial engineering degree in 2000.
His research includes Operations Management, Project Management, and Supply Chain Management using big data analysis, mathematical modeling, simulation, and optimization techniques.
Ahmad brings over 15 years of industry experience in car manufacturing, oil and gas construction projects (and postal service. His certificates and training include: Project Management Professional (PMP), Risk Management Professional (RMP), Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Excellence Model (PEM), and Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3).

Nataliia obtained her Ph.D. in Economics from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine) in 2011, where she started her career as Professor and worked for 12 years. Her professional field of interest is currency policy, which was the subject of a research dissertation thesis and afterward ran into a plethora of published articles and monographs.
After relocating to Canada in 2022, it was her honour to become a part of the Algonquin College community, teaching Managerial Accounting.
For the past eight years she has been also focusing on business analysis and analytics, and has gained practical experience in service, consulting, and manufacturing companies. Currently, Nataliia holds the role of Business Planner in one of the biggest companies in the semiconductor industry – Renesas Electronics, working with inventory, costs, revenue and budgeting for automotive and industrial product lines.
Her hobbies include walking, weightlifting, and photography. Favourite motto? “Find what you love to do and don’t let it go!”

Elizabeth Eldridge has 18 years of experience as a Logistics Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy across domestic, continental, and international spheres and has worked extensively in the Non-Profit sector.
She completed her Undergraduate Degree at the Royal Military College in 2010 and graduated from HEC Montréal with a Masters in Global Supply Chain Management in 2020.
She has an interest in supply chain management applications as part of sustainable development strategies and the impacts on poverty, particularly within smallholder agricultural communities.
