Success Stories and Testimonials

female graduate smiling“The Business Administration – General Business program provided me with the essential academic skills necessary for success in the workplace. Through a comprehensive curriculum that covers critical business areas such as finance, marketing, and management, I have honed my critical thinking, communication, and leadership abilities.

One of the program’s standout features was the co-op term, which offered a unique opportunity to gain practical, real-world experience before graduation. During co-op, I worked for a year in the government sector, where I applied my academic knowledge and developed valuable insights into public sector operations. This hands-on experience significantly enhanced my professional growth, equipping me with the skills and confidence needed to excel in my career. The blend of rigorous academic training and practical application has thoroughly prepared me for the dynamic demands of the business world, positioning me for long-term success and leadership in my chosen field.”

Work-Integrated Learning

General Business is one of the seven majors that Business Administration students can select in the second half of the three-year program. You’ll develop a skillset with learning from areas of business that include accounting, finance, human resources, international business, marketing and supply chain and operations management.

Students have the option to gain real-world experience through a paid co-operative education (co-op) work term (see Additional Information for more details). Please note that places in the co-op work term are subject to availability and academic eligibility. Please note admission to the co-op program does not guarantee a co-op placement.
