How to Get Assistance

The Digital Learning (DL) team at Learning and Teaching Services supports faculty and instructors with their use of Brightspace and integrated tools within Brightspace. The team can provide training, consultation, troubleshooting, guidance, and demonstrations for all educational technology. Ask us your questions about all things digital learning. We’re here to help!

Support Options

Instructors and faculty have many options available for Brightspace support. Choose the option that meets your needs:

Scheduling an appointment is the best way to ensure you are assisted in a timely manner:

NOTE: You will need your Algonquin College credentials to access the Booking form. If you do not have your login yet, please email brightspace@algonquincollege.com to set up an appointment.

Drop-in for support

Drop in to the Employee Learning Exchange (C123C) for in-person support, Monday to Friday, 8:30-4:30.

One staff member is available each day to provide support. Walk-in support is first come, first served.

Summer Hours!

  • Walk-in support is available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday during the summer months (May, June, July).
  • Virtual appointments are available Monday to Friday 8:00-5:00 schedule in the summer.

Open an ITS Support Case

Contact ITS Support for difficulties with logins, network connectivity, computer hardware, and email. Visit the ITS webpage and ITS Knowledge Base site for details on the services, supports and resources.

To open a case with ITS, email a description of your problem to  5555@algonquincollege.com.
Cases that are sent to ITS Support but are actually Brightspace-related will be forwarded to the Digital Learning team for support and vice-versa.
