Co-constructing Playful Early Math Learning

This project is dedicated to improving early numeracy skills in toddlers and preschool children through collaboration with researchers and early childhood educators (ECEs). By focusing on knowledge transfer and mobilization, the initiative aims to create impactful educational experiences for young learners.

The project has three key objectives:

  1. Bridging Research and Practice: The initiative seeks to close the gap between academic research and real-world educational applications.
  2. Access to Learning Activities: It will develop and provide engaging learning activities designed to foster numeracy skills, making them accessible to educators and caregivers.
  3. Training and Mentorship Opportunities: The project will offer training, mentorship, and networking opportunities for educators, emphasizing the areas of cognitive science, early numeracy, and early childhood education.

Through these efforts, the project aims to equip educators with the necessary tools and knowledge to support the development of foundational numeracy skills, setting the stage for lifelong learning and success.
