Wellness Rounds: Mobile Overdose Prevention Solution

This project aims to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study and design a mobile overdose prevention unit prototype. By transforming a decommissioned city bus into a space for supervised consumption of drugs, this innovative initiative seeks to address the ongoing overdose crisis in Ottawa.

The mobile unit will enhance accessibility to harm reduction services, providing individuals with a safe environment and promoting community health and safety. This initiative represents a proactive approach to mitigating the impacts of substance use challenges, fostering a compassionate response within the region. Through this project, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by substance use.
