Project Description:

The project aims to address the scheduling and convenience issues faced by Ottawa residents in booking elementary and high school public facilities for recreational sports. By developing a mobile application, it seeks to streamline the booking process, enhance accessibility, and optimize resource allocation for the city.

This initiative leverages technology to improve community services and foster collaboration between residents and school boards. The project has two main objectives: resolving existing challenges and utilizing modern technology’s opportunities.

The current manual booking process causes frustration and inefficiencies for both residents and the school board. By implementing a mobile solution, the project aims to improve convenience, accessibility, and transparency in facility bookings, while also enabling the school board to optimize resource allocation and revenue generation.
