WeVibe is an innovative online dating idea conceptualized by AppyYo. It is designed to promote genuine connections through personality-based matching algorithms. WeVibe differentiates itself from traditional online dating applications by matching users solely based off personality. Traditional dating apps allow users to select suitable matches through viewing profiles. Whereas WeVibe is designed to match users through results of a personality-based questionnaire. The result of the questionnaire identifies compatible individuals without allowing users with direct access to view the profiles of other users. Once users are matched, they are invited to participate in a speed dating session which is a 3-minute chat. This chat allows users to interact and get a sense of each other’s personalities. After the 3-minute initial chat, both users decide if they want to continue with their match. If both parties agree, the app unlocks access to view each other’s profiles.
