Algonquin College’s Data Analytics Centre (DAC) in the DARE District is recruiting for two positions on behalf of Cheetah Networks, one of the industry partners.
I) The Office of Applied Research, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Algonquin College has an opening for a term Research Assistant position of 6 to 12 months.
The ideal candidate:
- Algonquin College student or recent graduate,
- Has at least an Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred, and practical experience in digital electronics and firmware.
II) The Office of Applied Research, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Algonquin College has an opening for a co-op / full-time hours position of Research Assistant.
The ideal candidate:
- Algonquin College student or recent graduate,
- Has hands-on working experience with the following technologies, in order of priority:
- React, JavaScript, Html/CSS, Python
- Django Framework
- Cloud tools (AWS, GCP, e.g., Google API street view)
- Linux scripting (bash)
