Corrective Touch

The inspiration comes in part from the chiropractor's practice of correcting and relieving pain with the fingers, as well as from the design philosophy of the app: easy to use with a finger but functional to change the user's life.

Project Description:

Corrective Touch application is designed to track and visualize chiropractic patients’ pain levels throughout their treatment. The application will enable patients to easily track their physical condition and appointment records on their mobile phones, as well as help chiropractors achieve paperless tracking of patient recovery progress. The app addresses the current gap where patients lack a systematic way to track their rehabilitation and chiropractors only have in-session data. It features an interface for both patients and chiropractors to ensure tailored experiences for both types of users. It contains functionalities for patient users to log appointments, pain levels, and notes, with secure data access. The backend is developed using ASP .NET for Azure compatibility, and the mobile front end is developed in Flutter so that the application can be available on multiple platforms (iOS & Android). Additional features include educational resources, bilingual support, and data visualization.

Log in and Sign up UI designed for different user needs. Supports bilingual switching to provide a better user experience With patient permission, a chiropractor can easily view a patient’s entries so that they can tailor their treatment further. A chiropractor can also send resources which the patient can use when they do not have appointments with the chiropractor.
Patient users can share the info with specific chiropractors. They can record the pain level or mark an appointment date in the calendar. Later they are able to view a pain level index curve on a chart so that they can easily visualize their progress over time.
