Once you’ve completed your high school diploma, you are eligible to apply full-time in your program of choice at Algonquin College. Take a look at the huge range of full-time programs available. You can also browse clubs and communities that you can get involved with on campus: https://www.algonquincollege.com/future-students/graduates/
Once your accepted at Algonquin, don’t forget to apply for your Dual Credit exemption.
The process for applying for an exemption depends on your campus. If you are applying to the Perth Campus or Pembroke Campus please contact the Registrar’s Office on the appropriate campus. If you are applying to a program at the Woodroffe Campus, you can complete a Credit Transfer application online at ACSIS. If you are a new applicant, an ACSIS account and student number will be issued to you once we have received your program application from ontariocolleges.ca. You will receive an email with your student number and instructions on how to log on to ACSIS.
You are encouraged to submit your requests for transfer of academic credit (exemptions) prior to the beginning of classes.
Exemptions will be given a designation of “EX” on your transcript and as such will not contribute to your Grade Point Average. You will receive email confirmation of receipt of your application and you will also receive email confirmation of your approval or denial of your request.
