Academic Partnerships welcomed 76 students, from the Ottawa Carleton District and the Upper Canada District School Boards, to participate in two back-to-back Hospitality Skills Camps on February 21-24.
From the camps, 98.5 per cent of students who participated agree that they would recommend the Hospitality Skills Camp to other students.

Academic Partnerships welcomed 92 students from four Ottawa-area school boards as part of the Health and Wellness Exploration Camp on May 17.
The camp provided Grade 9, 10 and 11 students with the opportunity to explore health and wellness careers and educational programs in Nursing, Allied Health, and other health areas. Continue reading
On Tuesday March 22nd, the Academic Partnerships team welcomed 60 high school students participating in the Team Taught Dual Credit program at Arnprior District High School, Osgoode Township High School and West Carleton Secondary School to Algonquin College.
Grades 11 and 12 students who are in the Team Taught program take a course that is taught by both a college instructor and a high school teacher as part of their regular course load at their schools.
Algonquin College’s Academic Partnerships team welcomed students from four Ottawa high schools to their annual hospitality camp held on February 16-19.
For the past five years, the camp has sought to provide a two-day introduction to the hospitality field through a curriculum-driven, experiential approach. Continue reading
