What is this course all about?

The Pre-trades program at Algonquin College is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the trades. Students continue their practical discovery of various trade specializations. Students are provided hands-on experience, demonstrations, experiments and project-based tasks in four new trade areas in a lab setting. Students make an informed decision about pursuing a career in a specific trade area. Students explore three trades, including building construction technician, cabinetmaking/furniture technician, and plumbing.
