Stuart Russell has been passionate about technology since he was a child and has gone from taking appliances apart to being the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer for You.i TV. Stuart is the innovator behind You.i’s flagship software, which altered the way media and entertainment industry leaders deliver the best experiences for their customers through cross-platform video apps across mobile, tablet, game consoles, streaming devices, and smart TVs.
Grant Lecky

Grant has certainly made it his responsibility in a career that has earned him honours and accolades for his leadership and innovation. He is the founder of the Security Partners’ Forum, an agile network of the global security community dedicated to building security and resilience capacity internationally. A Global Advisory Council member of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management, he is also a security and resilience professional with the Government of Canada.
Susan Van Zanten
Biotechnology – Advanced
Class of 2017
After Susan graduated, she went on to work in microbiology with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). At first, Susan studied a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at Carleton. While working on her degree, however, Susan ultimately decided that psychology wasn’t her path. She wanted to look into other options. One day, Susan spoke with a family friend who worked as a laboratory technician and who had taken the Biotechnology program at Algonquin.

A Mohawk from the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory Marc has been involved with First Nations and Aboriginal issues over the course of his 20 year professional career. Today he is the Executive Director at Gignul Non-Profit Housing Corporation, but he got his start in architectural design.
