Rick Young is the Senior Vice President, Operations, Supply Chain and Purchasing with Maple Leaf Foods. Over a successful career spanning more than 30 years, he worked his way up from the shop floor to the Executive Team. He has learned everything about the company from the inside out, and as a leader used his extensive experience to help positively change the trajectory of Maple Leaf Foods in one of the most significant supply chain transformations in the North American food industry.

Canadian businessman Luc Villeneuve has spent more than 25 years boosting sales and assuming leadership roles with major companies, including Sun Microsystems, GE Capital, NCR, McAfee Canada, Red Hat Canada and Benchmark. He was a finalist for the Microsoft INSPIRE2018 Women in Technology Man of WIT Award, which celebrates men supporting diversity and inclusion.

Peter Tilley

Peter Tilley’s career trajectory is a remarkable one. Peter left behind a ‘suit and tie’ career to drive for the Ottawa Food Bank and, for 14 years, led an organization that distributed a whopping $16 million in food annually and fed 45,000 people each month! In 2013, Peter left the Ottawa Food Bank to become the Executive Director of the Ottawa Mission. Through Peter’s leadership, the Mission served close to 500,000 meals last year, provided 1900 individuals with shelter, successfully housed 173 men and facilitated close to 1,726 patient visits to medical clinics.

Graeme Ivory grew up as a sports-loving kid in Arnprior, but today you’ll find him as the town’s manager of recreation. There’s a lot of ground to cover between being a young sports fan and building a career in the field. Graeme shared the story of that journey with us.
