Pancho Deriger’s Bursary
Pancho Deriger was a resolute, enthusiastic teacher, skilled welder and a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. Pancho passed away this June from complications from a massive stroke.
Those closest to Pancho would know that this Bursary exemplifies what he believed in…helping students succeed in a career in the Trades. This is a terrific way to honour his memory, supporting the students he loved teaching in a field he excelled in.

In memory of the late Ronald Saumure, a beloved family man and community pillar, we proudly announce the launch of the Ronald Saumure Award of Excellence. Ronald was a dedicated alumnus of Algonquin College’s Architectural Technology program, known for his unwavering commitment to education and his desire to make the world a better place for everyone around him.
