Innovation in caring for seniors gets a new name.

A transformative $1 million gift from a generous family will support training thousands of healthcare students and, help communities meet the urgent needs of an aging population. Opened in Ottawa, in the Spring of 2016, the new Garbarino Girard Centre of Innovation in Seniors Care is proof, yet again, that our supporters are powering innovation in post-secondary education.

Inspired while at Algonquin has led to supporting Algonquin.

After graduating from Algonquin in photography, Michelle Valberg started her own photography company and has built an international, award-winning reputation. She credits her teachers and her time at Algonquin as key factors in her success. Even though her work takes her thousands of miles away, she maintains close ties and enthusiastically supports her hometown alma mater.
