Advancement Welcomes Barry Seller as Manager of Alumni Engagement

Barry Seller has joined the Advancement Team as the Manager of Alumni Engagement.

As the former Project Officer at the Ottawa Senators Foundation, Barry brings nearly 20 years of experience in community relations, program strategy and investments, and large-scale projects across the National Capital Region. With a strong focus on volunteer engagement, fundraising programs and donor stewardship, he has delivered a number of engagement and fundraising initiatives on behalf of the Ottawa Senators Foundation. He was also the MC (master of ceremonies) for Senators Soiree, their signature gala. As well, Barry was responsible for community partner programs, including successful projects with the City of Ottawa, Ville de Gatineau, the Boys and Girls Club, Sens Camperships, and United Way.

Prior to his work with the Foundation, Barry was the Manager of Fan and Community Development with the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club where he facilitated corporate partnerships, developed and executed community events and initiatives, and was responsible for the branding, schedule and appearances of Spartacat, the Ottawa Senators mascot.

Barry has a background in law at Carleton University, as well as Radio Broadcasting at Humber College.
