The Ronald Saumure Award of Excellence

In memory of the late Ronald Saumure, a beloved family man and community pillar, we proudly announce the launch of the Ronald Saumure Award of Excellence. Ronald was a dedicated alumnus of Algonquin College’s Architectural Technology program, known for his unwavering commitment to education and his desire to make the world a better place for everyone around him.

Ronald’s legacy is defined by his resourcefulness, solution-focused mindset, and a unique sense of humor that brightened every endeavor he undertook. Whether assisting friends, neighbors, or family, Ronald always knew how to tackle challenges with a smile and a laugh. His passion for his community and his ability to find innovative solutions made him an invaluable contributor to any initiative.

To honor Ronald’s memory and inspire future generations, we have established this endowment fund in 2024. The Ronald Saumure Award of Excellence aims to foster the same spirit of ingenuity and community service that Ronald exemplified throughout his life.
