Data & Reporting
Data is more important than ever in the world of continuous improvement. Data can help you to more objectively find areas of improvement, and quantify improvements you’ve already made. AC Way can help you in your quest for better data, stronger data analysis, and how to use data to effect change by helping to create dashboards for your huddles, get access to existing data and organize it effectively, and find ways to collect important data that doesn’t yet exist.
Data Dashboards for Continuous Improvement
Often, the data you need already exists – we just can’t easily access it, organize it, and aggregate it in a meaningful ways in order to integrate it into our daily systems. We can help you get access to and organize your existing data – and display it to help you monitor and drive improvements in your area.
What kind of dashboards support continuous improvement?
- Huddle Board Meetings
- Improvement Roll-Out Monitoring
- Building an Improvement Project Business Case
We can help you to create a dashboard in PowerBI or Excel that displays your data and updates in real-time to give you and your team the feedback you need.
Collecting New Data
Good data can drive and support decision-making and enable you to manage more effectively. Sometimes we are already collecting data and need ways to access and leverage it, but other times find us wishing for more data or struggling to know how to get more relevant feedback.
We can support your data acquisition strategy by helping you to develop simple forms or apps using the Microsoft suite of tools that help ou to capture the right data in the right way. We start with the end in mind so that the data you collect is ready to plug into other tools (Excel, PowerBI) for display and analysis.
Human Resources Workforce Reporting and Analysis
Algonquin College administrators rely on information to make effective decisions that benefit our students and stakeholders. The human resources data reporting and analysis team in AC Way provides accurate and up-to-date workforce reporting to various groups in the college.
As is the case with a lot of your data, the HR data we have is stored in many different systems (Workday, GeneSIS, etc.) and must be gathered, cleaned, and synchronized in order to provide our stakeholders with the right information at the right times. At the same time, we are constantly improving our HR systems and creating better reporting mechanisms and integrations to provide a more valuable experience for our clients.
