About the AC Hub

The AC Hub’s goal is to enhance your student experience beyond the classroom, by providing you with a space and opportunities to be actively involved in campus life and your community. We want you to meet new people, come up with creative ideas, find your passions, learn cool things — and have fun while doing it.

Here’s what you need to know about the AC Hub:

• • The AC Hub is Algonquin College’s student engagement centre. Visit our beautiful space on campus (2^nd floor, Student Commons/E Building) where students can study and collaborate and attend events.
  • Beyond the physical space, the AC Hub provides opportunities for you to learn about the world around you and get involved in campus life outside of the classroom. We are currently running events to inspire and engage you.
  • By design, the AC Hub offers events to appeal to a range of interests. Check out the events calendar to see what virtual events are coming up. You can also check out past events by watching the recordings that are posted on the AC Hub website. Topics include:
    • Cooking demos and tips on food styling
    • How to start a podcast
    • How to prepare for virtual/phone interviews
    • Managing your finances during COVID-19
    • Motivational speakers
    • Health and fitness
