Mission: The Salvation Army Bethany Hope Centre’s mission is to support, equip and empower adults, youth and children in the Ottawa Region by building services, partnerships and faith-based community spirit with a primary focus on young parents and their children.

Volunteer Position Description: The Salvation Army Bethany Hope Centre is looking for volunteers for their 2019 Christmas Kettle Campaign, which runs from November 21st until December 24th. As a Kettle Volunteer, you will be responsible for greeting the public in a courteous and friendly manner, safeguard any donations collected during your shift and ensure the kettle never gets left unattended. You are asked to ring the bell (at certain locations) and maintain a professional appearance.

Volunteer Position Requirements:

  • standing for long periods of time
  • interacting with people / general public
