Mission: Start2Finish’s mission is to break the cycle of child poverty by providing ongoing educational support to Canada’s at-risk children throughout their school years, nurturing mind, body and social health so they are empowered to succeed and become role models for change.
Volunteer Position Description:
The Start2Finish Running & Reading Club is an after-school program for children grades 1-6. Volunteer Coaches lead children in fun fitness and buddy reading to encourage literacy, healthy active living and play.
As a result, students stay in school, build self-confidence and develop positive friendships with mentors and peers. With mentor Coaches, students discover the possibilities of a brighter future.
Volunteer Requirements:
• Police Record Check
• Minimum 19 Years of Age
• Training Required
