Mission of Vixens Victorious:

Vixens Victorious is a volunteer organization committed to raising funds and awareness on behalf of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. Created by two childhood friends who experience cancer both as a survivor and a caregiver, they wanted to give back to the community in their own unique way.

To date, Vixens Victorious has raised over $42 000 for research, clinical trials and various programs that support people and their families living with cancer in Ottawa and surrounding areas.

Volunteer Position Description:

The team at Vixens Victorious are looking for an enthusiastic, like-minded individual to help out a few hours each week with regards to social media. You will assist the team with regards to social media strategies, while supporting and contributing to social media content (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram)

Volunteer Requirements:

  • You are a dedicated team player with an interest in our community, social media, marketing, public relations and charity.
  • You are knowledgeable in social media strategies, communications and positive branding
  • You like to think outside of the box
  • You are capable of working from home/remotely
  • You love people and have a friendly, outgoing personality
  • YOU want to volunteer with a fantastic group of people to organize a super cool event and “pay it forward” in our community!
