Mission: The Salvation Army Bethany Hope Centre’s (BHC) mission is to support, equip and empower adults, youth and children in the Ottawa Region by building services, partnerships and faith-based community spirit with a primary focus on young parents and their children.

BHC offers a variety of supports and services to young parent families and their children. Supports and services are voluntary and parents can choose to access as much or as little as they wish. Some of which is offered (not inclusive); Playgroups Childcare Respite Breakfast & Lunch LunchBox Programs Cooking Programs Crisis Counselling Fathering Groups Parenting Support & Education Programs Enterprise & Employment Support Life Skills & Personal Development Workshops Prenatal Classes & Buns in the Oven Infant Development Infant care and Attachment Healthy Living and Nutrition Independent Learning Centre with Learning Coach &PLAR assessments Food Share/Baby Cupboard & Clothing Vouchers Housing Support Chaplaincy Community Nurse & Well Baby/Well Family Clinics Resources such as Ottawa Public Health Nurses, First Words, SASC, Home Management &LEAP

Volunteer Position Description: Help share the news with our neighbours about our upcoming Night Market! http://nightmarketonfox.ca/ Looking for individuals or small groups who are willing to poster and deliver pamphlets throughout our neighbourhood. Mail-drop only – does not require knocking on doors. Flexible, weekday hours.
