Mission: Inspiring the next generation of athletes through the power of sports. At the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG), we believe that all children in our community should have access to sport, and the opportunity to learn and develop. That’s why we have established the OSEG Foundation. Together, with our coaches and players from the Ottawa REDBLACKS, Ottawa 67’s and Ottawa Fury FC – the OSEG Foundation will invest in local programs and initiatives that get more kids off the sidelines and into the game.

Volunteer Position Description:
What’s the Role? Do you want to give back? Do you want to help local youth through the power of sport? Do you have an affinity for a lively atmosphere and interacting with kids? The OSEG Foundation is looking to recruit fun-spirited volunteers to support the Fury FC Game Day team. At each Fury FC home game, the west end is converted into an exciting, activity-filled Family Fun Zone, at field level. We’re looking for volunteers to engage with our young Fury fans right in the heart of the action!
• Engage and entertain young Fury fans and families within the Family Fun Zone
• Provide a positive and memorable fan experience
• Facilitate and participate in Family Fun Zone activities (e.g. soccer-related games, face painting, etc.) in a safe and inclusive fashion
• Clearly and enthusiastically communicate with fans • Answer general inquiries about the Stadium (e.g., directional and wayfinding)

Volunteer Requirements:
• Desire to work in a fun, fast-paced atmosphere
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Ability to connect with and engage children
• Genuine enthusiasm for community involvement within the sports and entertainment sector
• Approximately a 4-hour time commitment
• Must be at least 14 years of age
• Ability to volunteer evenings and weekends during select Fury FC home games

* Volunteers are able to get involved on a game-by-game basis. Need not be available for every game.
