Mission:
Our goal is to help residents start a new life by providing both basic necessities and the comforts of a real home – at a time when those comforts are needed most. We also aim to deliver functioning, safe bicycles to each client.
Volunteer Position Description: Each bike is fully refurbished by our team of experienced mechanics. Some bikes only need a little bit of TLC to come back to life, but others require a total overhaul. Whatever their condition, our team of mechanics puts in whatever time is needed to give that bike a whole new life. This means that all of our clients receive bikes that are clean and in full working order.
An interest/passion for bikes and attention to detail, aptitude in mechanics and use of tools is an asset for this position.
We do not require a minimum level of effort, but are aiming to add committed volunteers to our team who are willing to help out a few hours each week as their own schedule permits.
Volunteer Position Requirements:
