Mission: Waupoos Family Farm is a registered non-profit organization with a unique charitable mission to serve families that live below the poverty line through facilitating a community experience.

The farm hosts up to five families at a time for vacations ranging from long weekends to a 6-night stay in the summer; providing refuge from the day-to-day challenges of poverty in the context of a recreational camp experience for the whole family.

Volunteer Position Description: Many low-income families do not have access to a vehicle and Waupoos Family Farm is not located on a bus route. Drivers are required to provide occasional rides to our families.

Volunteer Position Requirements:

  • Must have own vehicle
  • Police record check
  • Driver’s licence
