Mission statement: Supporting the Ottawa community to welcome people with intellectual disabilities to live, work and play as valued citizens.

Volunteer description: This is where a volunteer and one of our clients (who we call members) are matched up to do something fun together that is of a common interest. This is a flexible opportunity that we can set up to work with your schedule and the members. The goal is companionship and getting to know someone new while doing something you both enjoy. Some match options include:
– Cooking
– Working out/Gym/Fitness
– Walking
– Running
– Movies
– Hanging out
– Crafts
– Video gaming
– Board games
– Swimming
– Computers
and sooo much more!

Volunteer position requirements:
▪ Police Record Check
▪ Minimum 19 years of age
▪ Interacting with the public in a group setting
