Mission statement: Helping the Ottawa community to welcome people with intellectual disabilities to live, work and play as valued citizens.

Volunteer description: Become a One On One match with someone with an intellectual disability to provide companionship and have fun. Seeking volunteers who enjoy:

  • Video Games
  • Assisting in computer program navigation
  • Fitness (running, walking, working out, etc.)
  • Cooking/Baking
  • Shopping
  • Walking and chatting
  • Movies
  • Discussing news and politics
  • Hanging out
  • Swimming
  • Going on double dates
  • Party planning
  • Arts and crafts
  • Tai Chi
  • Book clubs
  • History and geography discussions
