To change what it is to be blind through innovative programs and powerful advocacy that enable Canadians impacted by blindness to live the lives they choose.

Volunteer Position Description:

This volunteer program is running in response to Covid-19
For Canadians who are blind or partially sighted, physical distancing can present a unique set of challenges that can contribute to feelings of isolation that many already experience in daily life.

The Virtual Vision Mate program gives volunteers an opportunity to engage in friendly conversations and offer support to CNIB participants on a weekly basis by telephone.

CNIB needs volunteer support to make an immediate impact on the community we serve.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Minimum 19 years of age
