Congrats, you’re officially one month into the semester! We hope that you’re getting more comfortable on campus and settling into the groove of your classes. With this in mind, it is a perfect time to explore some of our services that can complete and support you during your time here.
Employment Support Centre (ESC)

The Employment Support Centre provides in-person and online resources to help you become job-ready. You can book one-on-one appointments with an Employment Officer to go over your resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, as well as market trends and mock interviews. The ESC also has an exclusive online job board, HireAC which has both on- and off-campus positions.
Counselling Services

Counselling Services is here to support you with professional, confidential support for mental health, academic and career concerns. In addition to one-on-one appointments, Counselling Services also has Group Counselling on a variety of topics, a comprehensive list of Apps and Online Tools, and Academic Distress Counselling.
Health Services

Health Services provides support through individualized and confidential health and wellness care. This clinic, exclusive to Algonquin students and employees, provides virtually all services expected from a family doctor or medical clinic such as allergy injections, birth control, flu shots, and blood tests. Additionally, in partnership with The Royal, Health Services also has a Psychiatry Clinic available to students who are in need of this support.
