Mission:

ABA Connections is a center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinic with the majority of treatment occurring within the clinic setting. In order to best serve our clients, we offer a variety of additional services such as parent training, respite, social skills, and more both in the center, home, and community.

ABA Connections is dedicated to assisting clients in achieving their highest potential through the implementation of evidence-based treatments derived from the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and through the continual support, training and involvement of families, care providers, and the community.

Volunteer Position Description:

ABA Connections is seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to assist with our child and youth social group programs beginning in January 2020! Come join our amazing team and gain practical experience in fields such as: mental health, disability, child studies, psychology, social work, and more! No experience necessary.

Job Description
– Support the facilitators and therapists in the planning, organization, and facilitation of the group program
– Provide supervision and assistance to group participants
– Assist with personal care needs as required including, but not limited to, toileting, diapering, and/or feeding

We are looking for volunteers to fill the following shifts:
Saturdays & Sundays (930am-12pm and/or 12pm-3pm)
Mondays (345pm-645pm or 430pm-730pm)
Tuesdays (5pm-745pm or 530pm-745pm)
Wednesdays (4pm-7pm or 5pm-745pm)
Thursdays (345pm-645pm or 5pm-745pm)

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Police Record Check
  • Interacting with the public / in a group setting
  • Interacting with children/youth
