1. Budgeting
Make your money last by budgeting your needs and spending money.
Check out this budget template from Financial Aid, or meet with a Financial Aid Officer to learn more about financing your education.
2. Bursaries
A bursary is money awarded to post-secondary students that does not need to be paid back. Financial Aid at Algonquin College offers bursaries to students every term through an online application and selection process.

3. Employment
Short on cash? Consider getting a part-time job! The Employment Support Centre can help students and grads spruce up their resume and cover letter, practice interview skills, and optimize their LinkedIn profile to help them land a job.

4. Specialty Programs
Are you an international student, mature student, Indigenous student, or student with disabilities? You may be eligible for additional funding through specialty programs. Find out more!
5. The Food Cupboard
Did you know there is a food cupboard on campus at Algonquin College? The Food Cupboard is a supportive service available to any current Algonquin College student funded by the Algonquin Students’ Association and other community members, which recognizes the financial concerns of students. The Food Cupboard provides students who require the service with food and other basic necessities.
