Mission:
To provide educational, recreational, and social programs and services to the families living in the surrounding low-income, Confederation Court Community.
To offer confidential support and referrals to children, youth, adults, and families.
To ensure a safe and comfortable environment to access programs and services.
Volunteer Position Description:
We are currently searching for compassionate, patient, and energetic people who are interested in working with children and youth residing in the surrounding low-income housing of our community.
Volunteers will be required to commit a minimum of 3 months one day per week ( 3.30-5.30pm Mon-Thur). the task will include helping children and youth with their homework; interacting with children, youth and staff; helping prepare snacks; and basic clean up at the end of the program.
This position is a fantastic way to learn about the social services industry in a fun and challenging way while giving back to the community!
