In partnership with the people and communities of Ottawa, Ottawa Public Health improves and advocates for health and well-being through prevention, promotion, and protection.

Volunteer Position Description: Assist reception staff with students and other clients (rolling up sleeves, monitoring for safety during the 15 minute waiting period, accompanying students back to class if needed, going to the school office for information, alphabetizing consent forms.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Police record check
  • Minimum 19 years of age
  • Bilingual (French)
  • Standing for long periods of time
