Mission: The Miracle League of Ottawa’s mission is to provide accessible baseball and recreational activities for all with special needs and to bring a sense of community, team/league play, unconditional belonging, and barrier-free play to all involved.

Volunteer Position Description:

As a player buddy, your role will include supporting children, youth, and adults with disabilities during their time playing baseball. This could include pushing their wheelchairs, helping them when they go up to bat, directing to each of the bases, etc.

There is no long-term commitment, however, we do have a need for volunteers every Saturday (excluding holiday weekends).

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Police Record Check
  • Outdoor Activities
  • Interacting with the public / in a group setting
