3 Services You Need To Know About This Summer
Posted on Sunday, June 30th, 2019
Each month this summer, we’re highlighting useful services that you should know about. Here are three services that can help you get the most out of the summer term!
The Student Learning Centre offers a variety of services to help you succeed in your classes, including coaching in the fundamentals (writing, English, math, computers, and anatomy), peer tutoring in specific classes, and workshops on topics such as research and exam prep.
The AC Hub (2nd floor, Student Commons) is a collaborative, open-concept space designed to attract open minds. Devised as a one-stop access point for events, volunteering, wellness activities, and more, the AC Hub encourages you to become an active member of the Algonquin College community. Stop by to relax, work on your projects, and learn about cool upcoming events!
The Employment Support Centre provides job search assistance to students and graduates, including resume and cover letter reviews, interview preparation, networking tips, and job search strategies. Check out their website for online tools like HireAC, a job board exclusive to Algonquin students and graduates.
