Volunteer Position Description:

Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa is looking for a volunteer to fill the role of Research & Development Coordinator.

This exciting opportunity will involve researching/prospecting new grant opportunities and third-party events, assisting with grant applications, and supporting third-party events. Are you a strong researcher with excellent communication skills who is interested in learning more about development? If yes, this may be the role for you!

We are looking for someone who is people-oriented with strong writing skills, comfortable with community outreach and who is available to volunteer one day a week at 768 Belfast Road, our Habitat Greater Ottawa Admin office on an ongoing basis. Must be well versed in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with fundraising, event coordination, and grant-writing are an asset.

  • Interacting with the public/in a group setting
